The Board
The Japanese Teacher Training Board oversees the summer Teacher Training Institute (TTI) and ensures that its academic programs are of the highest quality.  Board members actively teach in the summer program and serve on a rotating basis as Program Director of the summer institute.  Members of the Board are also closely associated with the implementation of the Intercultural Exchange Program by assisting with candidate interviews in Japan, speaking with professors and deans of prospective partner universities, and occasionally representing the program at conferences.

The Board has more than 125 years of combined experience in the field of Japanese pedagogy and is a closely knit team that has collaborated on many projects over several decades.
